Handspring has announced that their new Blazer Palm OS web browser can now be purchased online via Handango and Palmgear. Blazer runs on Palm OS v3.1 and higher; supports HTML, WWL, and cHTML standards; and can be integrated with new tools from Microsoft MSN Mobile and Google search engine.

Xybernaut has announced plans to jointly design and develop future wearable devices with IBM. These new devices -- not officially announced yet -- will use Texas Instruments' next-generation digital signal processor (DSP) and there is a software developer kit available for members of Xybernaut's developer program.

Lightware has announced a new US$2495 1100-lumen SVGA multimedia projector called the Traveler CS-11 that weighs 5.6-pounds.

Pumatech has announced Mind-it v4.3 with support for Windows NT that can be integrated into backend capabilities (Web, database, etc. servers) to enable email or mobile device notification services. Mind-it is also integrated into Pumatech's complete Mobile Application Platform (MAP).

Symbol Technologies has announced plans to equip McLane Company with wireless LAN and handheld devices that will link 1050 delivery trucks and 17 national distribution centers into a single enterprise WAN. [More information via Yahoo]

Targus has begun shipping their USB Charge-Sync Cable (US$50) for the Palm V form-factor devices that enables both recharge and synchronization with a single cable. Other key features: built-in synchronization button, and an LED to indicate power, transmit, and receive.
