PC World has reported the announcement of a new color-savvy Palm OS based Samsung I300 full-featured, normal-size cell phone.

Kada Systems has announced a "midget" (155K) and "fatter" (380K) versions of a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) for Palm OS. A developer kit can be purchased directly for US$295 -- a developer kit and 100 deployment licenses will cost US$3995.

FirePad offers a wide range of mobile documentation solutions for Palm OS devices. Documents can be digitized with high-resolution images, video, and HTML content.

Psion has teamed up with One-Ed Dot Com (system integrator) to bring wireless 'e-school' technology to over 8000 students and teachers in Malaysia using Psion netBook EPOC OS handheld devices.

Photogenics for Pocket PC is a full-featured image and graphics solution for handheld devices. Some key capabilities: retouch images, draw & paint tools, filters, layers, editing functions, and screen image grabbing.
