Seapine Software has ported its SoloBug software to the Palm OS platform. The stand-alone bug reporting application can be optained at www.seapine.com.

Handspring has begun offering the Handspring Protection Plan, giving customers the option of extending warranty coverage on their Visor handheld and VisorPhone products. Each of the plans includes "quick and easy turnaround on all returns and repairs." Extending the warranty for 12 months would cost from US$29.99 to US$49.99.

Zebra Technologies, thermal printer manufacturer, announced their partnership with Bachmann Software to provide Palm OS beaming support via their PrintBoy software.
