MediaQ has announced that Sony's Mobile Networking Company has selected the MQ1100 Controller chip for use in Sony's next-generation of handheld products. The MQ-1100/1132 platform offers: 64-bit 2D graphics engine, direct LCD display interface, a USB device controller, and 256-KB of SRAM in a single low power chip.
