eWeek Labs has taken an extended look at two new office applications from DataViz and Cutting Edge for Palm OS devices.

There is a new Los Angeles Pocket PC User's Group that is meeting every 3rd Wednesday of the month at Microsoft's office at 2700 Colorado Ave, Suite 300, Santa Monica, CA 90404.

Juniper Financial Group has announced new wireless financial transaction services for Palm and Windows CE users using technology solutions from Aether Systems. These services were previously only available via RIM Blackberry devices or WAP-enabled phones.

You can now vote using a "Butterfly Ballot" layout for DDH Software's HanDBase's "best" customized applet contest. The five finalists include: WardMemo, Project Tracker, Work Days, PC Manager, and Exercise Log.

Acer and iGo have teamed up to offer Acer portable notebook accessories in North America through the following site: accessories.acer.com.

The Cross Pen Computing Group has announced that they are now shipping in "very limited quantities" their pen-based scanning technology -- the Cross: Convergence Pen -- via their online store for US$90. The device should be shipping to retailers in mass quantities in Q1'2001.
