OmniSky has announced: #1.) New strategic alliance with 2Roam; #2.) Beta testing of services in United Kingdom has recently started (with the rest of Europe coming soon); #3.) Telephia has published a report that found OmniSky 25% faster for data transfer when compared to similar services; and #4.) Recent demo with Macromedia showed Flash multimedia content flowing over OmniSky to PocketPC devices.

ACD Systems has announced a new deal with IDEO to provide IDEO digital cameras with desktop software (Windows/Macintosh) to view and manipulate JPEG images captured via HandSpring handhelds and eyemodule/eyemodule2 SpringBoard modules.

Sweden's Columbitech has announced a Secure Proxy Client that supports both WAP and HTML browsers on Microsoft's Pocket PC platforms using WTLS (Wireless Transport Layer Security) Class 3 secure connections.

NovaSync (formerly Remote Data Solutions) has announced the creation of a new "integration middleware subsidiary" called iWay Software that will be responsible for integrating NovaSync mobile solutions into iWay's Mobile Computing Server (MCS) platform.

Enfour has announced the release of the UniFEP (Asian-language Unicode solution) software developer kit (SDK) for C++ programmers that supports the Symbian's EPOC OS.

Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC) has announced that they have ported their biometric electronic signature solution called "SignIt v3.0" to IBM's new ThinkPad TransNote platform.
