Infinity Softworks has agreed to license their powerOne Personal software (professional calculators) to Palm to be bundled on Palm OS devices sold by Palm.

Blue Nomad's Wordsmith for Palm OS offers word processing capabilities to mobile users. Some features: rich text; intuitive interface; works with external keyboards; formatting tools; compatible with desktop Microsoft Word docs; and synchronization conduit supports Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.

Audible has announced that the Franklin eBookMan (a family of portable digital audio players) is now shipping to selected outlets for retail sale. In conjunction with this release, Audible has announced a "LightListener" monthly membership program for US$13 a month that enables two audiobook-per-month downloads.

BitFlash offers wireless Palm OS users a potential solution that can deliver multimedia graphics to wireless devices using BitFlash's multiplatform-savvy Reflexis Graphics Engine.

Korea's JTEL has released their Cellvic operating system to China's Shanghai Motorola Paging Production Company that will run on Motorola two-way pager devices. Other Systems running Cellvic are expected to be widely available to worldwide commercial users in Summer 2001. JTEL is also working with a host of other companies including Sweden's Echoo.

Motive Communications offers Mobile Customer Care solutions that support Microsoft PocketPC devices, and devices that support Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) -- like RIM Blackberry two-way messengers or Palm OS devices.
