MIST, a wireless transaction company, has announced a new distribution agreement for their "MIST Freedom II" terminals with Hypercom's The Horizon Group, a point of sale distribution company.

CitySync offers restaurant, hotel, and entertainment information for handheld devices for the following destinations (more planned): New York City, Bangkok, Boston, London, Los Angeles, Paris, San Francisco, and Tokyo.

Thinque has signed a new agreement with Symbol Technologies that will enable Symbol's handheld units the SPT 1733/34, the PPT 2733/34, and the PDT 753X to be a host platforms for Thinque's Mobile Solutions Platform (MSP) software used to build field force automation solutions.

Brinkman Technologies, GUS Networks, and HotPalm.com have teamed up to offer wireless banking services technologies (check balance, bill payment, transactions, fund transfer, and account data updates) to financial institutions, who can then provide these services to their customers.

Aportis Technologies has announced the release of BrainForest Mobile Edition v2.2 and BrainForest Professional v2.2 for Palm OS devices. BrainForest is a comprehensive action item organizer, idea tracker, project planner, and checklist manager. New features: beam data, keyboard commands, security enhancements, support for Palm OS 3.5/4.0, and improved font display for other languages like Japanese.
