Direct Logic Systems has announced a new "non-violent" puzzle game for Windows and Palm OS devices called Abbie (freeware) that includes a framework for upgrading to additional puzzles (US$13).

Thinque has announced a new mobile software application called "MSP-Lift" (built using their Mobile Solutions Platform) that has been created to help the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Key goals of this product are to help a company increase efficiency, decrease reduction, and SKU rationalization.

Ectaco International has announced an English/Hebrew Palm OS version of their "Language Teacher" software that already supports Windows desktop and Windows CE mobile devices.

Coola offers two-way information management between Web content and handheld devices. The software supports wireless conduit updates and desktop synchronization. Coola has also recently signed new partnership agreements with the following handheld solution providers: Blue Nomad, Cutting Edge Software, iSilo, Qvadis, RichReader, Aportis Technologies, TealPoint Software, and TomeRaider.

Parthus Technologies has announced a new licensing and royalty agreement with 3Com that enables 3Com to use Parthus mobile solutions (Bluetooth, GPS, audio compression) throughout 3Com's wireless and mobile product lines.

Bachmann Software & Services and Cutting Edge Software have announced a new bundle (US$34) of Cutting Edge Software's Quickword application with Bachmann Software's PrintBoy Documents. The bundle can be purchased online via Palmgear.com for 15% less than buying both products separately.
