Avantgo has announced #1.) Financial results for the Q4'00 had revenues of US$6.6 million -- an increase of 526% over revenues from the same quarter last year, and 42% higher than Q3'00. Avantgo is still losing money though, but at a slower rate of $10.6 million Q4'00 vs. $10.9 million Q3'00. They still have over US$73 million in cash and investment reserves. #2.) A new alliance with Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) to provide professional health content to mobile devices. LWW currently has over 3000 periodicals and reference texts in their assets; and #3.) A new partnership with Research In Motion (RIM) to jointly market and offer wireless data and application services to Fortune 1000 companies.

MobiMate has introduced a new online wireless update service that keeps their WorldMate application current with the latest currency rates.

DDH Software has announced the winner of their $1000 HanDBase Applet of the Year Contest -- 'Work Days' by Kevin McCord of Dallas, Texas. More than 279 submissions were submitted for evaluation in this contest.

Aportis eBook Online Library now has over 4000 titles available for download for Palm OS users.
