If you prefer form over function, you can replace the Palm-sized PC's Active Desktop with a bitmap picture. Open the display applet in your PPC's control panel and press the 'Display wallpaper' radio button. A new file selection area will appear, in which you can select your wallpaper and tile the image if you'd like.
