Tip of the Day

By default, the Palm-sized PC voice recorder is set to the highest level of compression. This saves memory on your PPC, but the voice memos you record are not compatible with Windows CE Handheld PCs. If you'd like to beam a recorded voice memo to colleages with HPCs, you'll need to change the format from TrueSpeech to MobileVoice or PCM.

To do this, select 'Tools' - 'Recording Format' from the Voice Recorder's menu. Then simply select MobileVoice or PCM in the 'Format' window and press ok. PCM will give you much better compression (smaller file size) than MobileVoice.
